Ashutosh will be seen highlighting the unwavering commitment, persistence, and expertise of Ramakant Kulkarni, needed to unravel the most complex cases and face the challenges in solving the series of mysterious murders in rural Maharashtra during the 1970s.
Renowned filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, makes a significant return to Marathi entertainment with his upcoming Marathi crime thriller series, "Manvat Murders", as an actor. He was last seen in the Marathi film, "Ventilator" (2016), which was directed by the National Award winning Director, Rajesh Mapuskar and produced by Priyanka Chopra.
The trailer for "Manvat Murders" starring Ashutosh Gowariker, Makarand Anaspure, Sonali Kulkarni, and Sai Tamhankar, unveiled the chilling tale of a series of brutal murders that shook a small village in Marathwada from 1972 to 1974. Based on the autobiographical work of CID Ramakant S. Kulkarni, "Footprints on the Sand of Crime", the series follows the investigation led by the esteemed officer, played by Ashutosh.

The catch is that he is racing against the clock.
Directed by the award winning Director, Ashish Bende, "Manvat Murders" will explore the complexities of the investigation, the challenges faced by the detectives, and the chilling atmosphere of the time period.
Produced by Storyteller’s Nook, Mahesh Kothare and Adinath Kothare, and created by Girish Joshi, ‘Manvat Murders’ is set to release on October 4 on Sony LIV.
