Actress Celesti Bairagey, who has been part of the show Rajjo as well as Amazon mini TV series Amber Girls School, says that it is very important to manage criticism well. The actor adds that it is also important to push yourself out of your comfort zone. “I see constructive criticism as a gift. It’s a chance to refine my skills and gain new perspectives. I take feedback seriously, reflect on it, and use it to enhance my future performances. Growth happens outside of our comfort zone, and feedback helps me push those boundaries,” she says.
Ask her how she contributes to a positive and collaborative work environment on set, and she says, “On set, I believe in the power of teamwork. I always bring a positive attitude, respect everyone’s contribution, and stay open to ideas. A collaborative environment makes the magic happen, and I love being a part of that creative energy.”
She adds, “High-pressure situations are part of the job, and I’ve learned to stay calm and focused under stress. I break things down, prioritise, and trust in my preparation. It’s all about staying present and giving my best, even when the clock is ticking.” Talking about her greatest strength as an actor, she says, “My greatest strength as an actor is my ability to connect with characters on a deep emotional level. I’m also adaptable and love exploring different genres and roles. You will soon see me exploring a different genre, different style. My curiosity and passion drive me to constantly challenge myself and bring authenticity to every performance."
