Pawan Kalyan was born to Konidara Venkat Roa and Anjana Devi on September 2, 1971, in Telegu family. His schooling was done with St. Joseph's High School, Nellore. Pawan Kalyan's real name is Konidara Kalyan Kumar. Due to his success in martial arts, he was awarded the title of "Pawan" by the Isshinryu Karate Association. The actor also holds a black belt in karate.

Carrer and Achivements

His acting career began with the 1996 film Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbai, directed by EVV Satyanarayana. His second film Goclamlo Sita, released in 1997, was a drama film. In this film, Pawan Kalyan was first introduced with the title "Pawan Kalyan". The actor's third film was Susavagatham, for which he won the Power Star title for the first time.

Kalyan's next film Tholi Prema was a huge success. The film was directed by A. Karunakaran. After its release, the film became a classic romantic film in Telugu cinema. The film won the Telugu National Film Award for Best Feature Film, 6 State Nandi Awards and was also screened at the 30th International Film Festival of India. The actor then went on to make one great film after another, winning the hearts of the audience. The actor founded the Jana Sena Party on March 14, 2014, and began working for the people. In 2014, Pawan Kalyan extended his support to the BJP. He decided not to contest the 2014 elections and supported the Telugu Desam Party (TDP)-BJP alliance and campaigned intensively.
