If your outer appearance is neat, clean, and presentable, then so should your inner appearance: Singer Alok Singh

Singer Alok Singh, who is enjoying the success of his latest song, Rang Ishq Da, feels that while it’s important to take care of a person’s outer self, it is also crucial that they take care of their inner self. He also stressed the need for grooming and how it plays a big role in shaping one’s personality.   

“If your outer appearance is neat, clean, and presentable, then so should your inner appearance. I take a lot of care with what I consume. And the mental state of keeping everything balanced is also very important to nourish your personality,” he said.   

“Grooming is very important; jo dikhta hai woh bikta hai, I always say. For me, grooming is a priority. Looking good is another thing, and looking clean and neat is something very important. I also love watches and shoes, so I have a massive collection of all the big brands,” he added.   He also agrees that outer appearance attracts people’s attention and says, “If you wear an expensive watch, but if your hands are looking dirty, that's not how you're going to compliment things. Wear a normal watch; if you are presentable, everything looks luxurious automatically.”   

He stressed, however, that it’s just the first impression, but it is part of the inner self too.   “Outer presentation comes from the inner self. You should feel for yourself. The way we say love yourself is something like that. Your outer presentation says a lot about yourself. If you are wearing slippers, that's fine, but how clean and neat your appearance is is what matters. Your nails are clean, your beard is in shape, and your clothes are neat,” Alok said.   

Speaking of vibes, he said, “Vibes totally hit differently. It is something like if we have similar tastes or may not support certain kinds of behavior. I like people who know their work and themselves very well.”

His morning routine includes his presentation, sense of humor, personality, dressing, and speech. His attitude is everything to learn from,” Alok ended.
