Nitin Goswami on Deewani completing 100 episodes

 
Nitin Goswami, who is currently seen in Deewani, is happy that his show will be completing 100 episodes on Thursday. He revealed that his physique worked in his favor when taking up the role, and it enhanced the character’s appeal.
 He said, “My character required a specific physique, and thankfully, my physique is good. This has given me the chance to take my shirt off frequently, which enhances the character's appeal. In recent episodes, my character becomes a model, and despite not getting work initially, I suddenly receive a modeling offer. As a model, I have to show off my body often, which happens frequently. This has been a plus point for me, giving me the opportunity to showcase my physique.”
 The actor has been receiving a lot of compliments for his acting and his physique. He shared, “I've been working out daily for 18–20 years, so I was confident about my body. I always wished to get good acting roles, and Touchwood, my entire production team, is happy with my work. I also receive many positive messages and comments from the audience on social media, especially Instagram. Most of the comments are about how good my acting is, which is very encouraging for me. I also get compliments on my looks and hairstyle, which is a bit different from other actors.”
 “These compliments make me very happy and motivate me to keep doing my best. We hope the show continues to do well, and we will keep entertaining our audience. We put a lot of effort into every scene, trying to make it as realistic as possible. I believe that the more real it feels, the more the audience connects with us,” he added.
 Deewani airs on Dangal, and Nitin shared that people often say it feels like a top channel show. He added, “We brought something new to Dangal that the audience is really enjoying. Initially, our TRP was good at the 10 PM slot, but after moving to the 9:30 PM slot, our TRP has increased even more. More people are watching, and we are getting more messages on Facebook and Instagram, which is very encouraging for us.”

 Talking about his joy at completing 100 episodes, he said, “I'm very thankful. We also get wonderful messages from fans on social media, which show us that they really enjoy our love story and the family drama in the show. Overall, everything is going well.”
 Any interesting incidents from the set? “Something interesting happens on set every day. Our scenes are always filled with interesting moments. Initially, we had a lot of emotional and action scenes, but now we have more funny, cute, and playful scenes. Right now, that's what's happening, and touchwood, everything is going well,” Nitin ended.
