While some people consider their budgets and schedules, I feel I was born to travel: Karan Gulianii

I love traveling; it's a big part of who I am, and I'm really thankful to God for it. I consider myself a humble person, and this humility comes from traveling. When I travel, I meet local people and realize how humble the world is.”

Writer, actor, and director Karan Gulianii, who has directed movies like Amrinder Gill, Ranjit Bawa-starrer Savann, which was produced under Priyanka Chopra’s banner, and Amritsar Chandigarh Amritsar, starring Gippy Grewal and Sargun Mehta, says he is a traveler at heart. For him, traveling is a lifestyle.   He said, “While some people consider their budgets and schedules, I feel I was born to travel. I love traveling; it's a big part of who I am, and I'm really thankful to God for it. I consider myself a humble person, and this humility comes from traveling. When I travel, I meet local people and realize how humble the world is.”   “Being humble attracts many people to you. For example, sitting at a small tea stall, you can have long conversations with strangers. For me, traveling is a must. It might not be a lifestyle for everyone, but it is for me. Traveling is a part of my life. I think my second name could be 'Travelling',” he added.
He revealed that while others look for an excuse to go on vacation, he looks for any chance to travel. “If I have five free days, that's all I need to plan a trip. Even if it's just traveling to Lonavala for a cup of coffee, I'm that crazy about traveling, especially during the monsoon season,” he said.   “I'm the type who would go to Lonavala just for a cup of tea. It doesn't matter if it's Lonavala or any corner of the world; if I have the time and budget, I love to travel. I especially love mountains; I am a mountain person,” he added.
Karan also shared that traveling makes one see the world from a different perspective and makes them realize the simple pleasures of life. “For someone from the film industry, where everything is big and glamorous, you suddenly realize the importance of simple things, like a cup of tea that costs 3 rupees. That 3-rupee tea comes with the chance to meet people and have a half-hour conversation with them, and that's very important. So yes, traveling is an addiction. I love this addiction; it's a very healthy one,” he said.
