Working with Dhairya Karwa was a great experience: Khushi Bhardwaj 

Actress Khushi Bhardwaj who was last seen in 36 Days, is currently seen in Gyaarah Gyaarah. The young girl is getting a lot of compliments for her work in the series. Sharing more about her role and experience Khushi says,”When I got this role I was keen on doing it. I have never done something with these shades. My character Garima is someone from  Uttarakhand who is a simple girl. The look is something which I have never done on camera. Wearing Indian attire with a bindi on the forehead was really different from my previous work. The series is a thriller which was one major reason for me to take this up. Director Umesh Bist who has directed films like Paaglet was another reason. He is someone who has given me so much freehand to act; it is a great feeling for an actor. He is very calm on set and knows what exactly to be extracted from his actors. And also Sikhya Entertainment( Guneet Monga and Achin Jain) is a production house I am immensely proud to be associated with. Whether you work for 5 days or 50 days the way they treat you as actors is really something all should learn from. Also I have noticed the production house has a lot of female and that’s really something which I am happy with.”

Khushi has most of her scenes with the Gehraiyaan actor Dhairya Karwa and she can’t stop talking about him. She says,”I have seen his work in films like URI, Gehraiyaan, Apurva - he is very talented and what sets him apart is his humble nature. The moment I reached the set he made me comfortable and that’s a huge effort for an experienced actor. Working with Dhairya Karwa was a great experience.” 

16 year old Khushi shares the most challenging part of shooting for Gyaarah Gyaarah. “We were shooting in February in the hills and the temperature was freezing. And because we were shooting in the hills there was no makeup van and we were in  tents. And fire pits were everywhere so we could feel the warmth.”
